corporate social responsibility(SCR) refers to business practice involving initiatives that benefit society. OPT is doing its best of social responsibility like many of today's business are following these four areas of practice.
Environmental efforts
One primary focus of corporate social responsibility is the environment. Steps are taken to reduce carbon foot print and produce environmental freindly product thru research & development. Any steps they can take to reduce those enviromental effects are considered both good for the company and society as a whole.
Ethical labor practices
OPT embrace diversity by treating employees fairly, ethically and equally without discrimincation on gender, race, religion believe and nationality. In any international location we operate, we respect and fully adhere to the local labor laws regardless of how much different from the other country.
Volunteering
Employee are encouraged by the company to attend volunteer events. In some cases, the company may sponsor in term of fund and/or goods if the event is seen valuable in helping the community. By doing good deeds without expecting anything in return, the company is able to help making the world a better place.
Philanthropy
OPT also practice social responsibility by donating to national and local charities on the case by case basis. Certain resources that can benefit charities and local community programs whenever it can.
